Photoshop is considered part of the selected area to adjust the color range “fuzziness” slider to increase or decrease the range of colors. Increase or decrease this setting in the same way as you use the Tolerance setting that increases or decreases the sensitivity of the Magic Wand tool.
To add to your selection, click the “+” eyedropper button and sample additional color areas. If you accidentally add that area in which you do not want to include, then press “Ctrl-Z” to undo the last sample action or click on the “-” field with a sample area. When the background color is fully included in the range, click on the “OK” button to apply it and come back to the main image window with the active selection.
Press “Shift-Ctrl-I” to reverse the selection so that it can attach the foreground topic instead of a green background. Open the “Select” menu, and then select “Refine Edge” or click the “Refine Edge” button in the Options bar. Reduce radius settings to adjust sharp contrast between your subject and background.
Adjust the Edge Slider to smooth the selection perimeter and wings, and use the Contrast slider to work hard on the edge. The shift edge slider moves the selection inside or out.
